The major German Exchange of Derivatives Eurex announced plans to launch futures tied to digital assets, including Bitcoin.
According to the Block edition, referring to sources familiar with the situation, futures on BTC, ETH and XRP will be launched. Representatives of the Exchange have already conducted several meetings with major market participants to discuss these products.
It should be noted that the Eurex Exchange was founded in 1998 and provides trafficking on derivatives in the international market. The exchange division of the Exchange manages a bullet at $ 55.5 billion, and the monthly transaction volume reaches $ 14.1 trillion.
Interestingly, the Eurex operator is the Deutsche Börse Stock Exchange - planned the launch of futures for digital currencies since December 2017. Then the operator noted that the company reflects on the launch of futures, with the help of which "private investors and institutional clients will be able to protect their investments in Bitcoin or take advantage of the fall in cryptocurrency prices."
